We were honoured to be present at the unveiling of a memorial bench at Noadswood School today for former student Ben Pavitt, who passed away 4 years ago today from cancer. Ben liked to sit and think on a rainbow bench that we have in Marchwood, hence the design.

Happy Birthday to us! It was 3 years ago today that a group of us got together with a plan to form a Men’s Shed and to work on projects to benefit the village. At the time we had no tools, no workshop and no idea how it would work. Since then we’ve set up our workshop, forged great friendships and completed countless community projects.
